awake before dawn
rain -
I step to the porch
hear the rain hitting every leaf
in the forest
look below me
see the dark water in the river
- for some reason
I feel like
Doc Holliday in Japan
Dawn in My Hair
Dawn in My Hair
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Re: Dawn in My Hair
That sounds great- the rain.. and doc holiday - nice/
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

I read this while eating slices of sandwich cheese spread with peanut butter - I fold each slice into itself like a burrito -better than Kenny Rogers.....

Re: Dawn in My Hair
I like to listen to acoustic
Love to sing although
I think I got kicked out
Maybe some blues
But I still have
A rock and roll soul
I have had to learn
To let go
Tonight I am sure that at any moment I will start
The project laid on the dining room table
Or the canvas on the easel
The praying woman
On her kneees
With flamingo s behind her
I am not sure about the size
Of those birds in that painting
Pushing forward
I have a canvas painting with a gun glued
In itand a gas cap from ?
High voltage
And the woman that drops all her furniture
On me
And then went and lived with a troll
Wow- what a woman will tolerate-
Certainly it is not so easy inbtge world
But selling my soul
Was not part of that agreement
Love to sing although
