eternal emotions
bottled at the source
an artesian aquifer of the heart
buried in limestone and clay blankets,
all of the hydrostatic equilibrium capped,
put on a shelf to age like merlot
some love only gets better
richer, fuller, better tasting

10,000 taste buds don't lie

psychic interlock is like lego-love
it's forever, and time is not
a factor in the mathematical equation,
cerebral love bends light, it's prismatic
and full of volcanic colors that want to spew
your body grows old, your organs shrivel
your mind stays filly and colt, your heart
believes in what was....your soul is willing
one can be the loneliest number at times
on those three dog nights, so you re-map
the diagram to fit your morning mood

four hands
grab the rope
swing out to the center
of the still teal pond
release their grips, plunge
into the frigid waters of time
and pop to the top, tingling
lips locked
like long long ago

what's fifty years
an eye-blink town
like Mt. Sidney, Virginia
if you sneeze you've missed it
rollin' down Route 11
rollin' through the decades
nostalgia is power stuff
seems like the realest of the real
old friends get a glow, old girlfriends
glow a little redder, time stops
for no one, 'xept the dreamer

my mind rolls back
like the top of my old desk
there is a curvature necessary
and what will I see around that bend
in the rear view mirrors of my life
loves gained and loves lost

distant love from another life
time can be so forgetful
where are the videos to help
reconstruct the puzzle, are they
in "the cloud" ?
are they in the the cosmos somewhere
can I tap into the pictures
or am I left to cobble together
