scaling pyramids of dreams
where only one can surmount
attaining the pinnacle
while others grasp and claw
hanging on by their sanity
amidst the insanity of
survival for a fittest
money lures at hungry mouths
snapping, biting at shreds
of dreams to be ego-schemes
floating upon mind-streams
of make believe that
each is more than what we are
and less than what we have
in our heartfelt offerings
