The sun rises
In the east corner
Of my little yard

Today : windows open
Papayas growing

Basil - green and aromatic
I love the rake I got

The yard and my touch on the great Mother Earth
I wanted to care for a small piece of land

At night
The assisted living place
Behind me
We dream together

As they are wise
And close to dismissal

I feel beautiful
In
My five dollar dress
Cut off shorts

Please laugh at me
Because I’m funny

I’m giving birth to a baby
Made of ice cream
There are glazed doughnuts
Dancing
In my eyes
Chocolate slides in front of me
In caramel
Drenched in pleasant tastes

The sounds of the fans
Moving the air around
Feels so good
I do not dare make a sound
Winter in the desert is here
The moments we have been waiting for

I will join the little old ladies at the aquatic center
I will do laps
