To get out from under debt
Because
It’s extremely expensive to eat
Some of us volunteer at the food bank
Somehow I am surprised
How many people need food

The illnesses acquired due to lack of food and medicine I

Is visible here- no dirty secrets
No gangsters
Just pure unadulterated hungry
For something better
Beautiful even
Faith bangs on the door

Peppers
Eggs
Bread
Tuna fish
Sliced ham lunch meat
Beans and rice
Canned corn

Yep
Betcha cannot figure out what to cook
With these odd ingredients
Pears anyone?

Let us not forget the can of tomato sauce
The noodles even
However some people don’t got no
House aNd kitchen
Bathroom down the hall
Or any of the top ramen noodles packages
I dunno how people do it
I asked jokingly how much is rent in Venice California
5000$ a month
I’m still strange since I lived there
Too much too fast
