searching for words
when the bridge is out
how do I span my consciousness

what detour works best
when a heart is sated to capacity
with feelings that beg for descriptions

I search the adjacent perimeters
believing i have missed something.....
cannot find a single reason to turn back

it's a remarkable day
when an old hiker can only see the future
in the arms of a goddess, a glorious step

into an unknown world over rivulets
that run wild with only the magic of nature's
ways of touching a man, wordless

it might appear, yet voices speak
in pure radiant energy, expanding the mind
with glowing orbs of orange, sage, olive

emerald, mint. sea foam,
her everlasting colors of love in winter
when mere words fall short
