Sometimes it seems I'm just on the verge,
that the breakthrough is inevitable.
The time, the place,
it all feels to be falling into place.
I don't know what IT is, but IT'S about to be revealed!
It's so close I can taste it, feel it in my bones!
of course it soon fades,
the promise unfulfilled.
The feeling passes
no matter what I try the vison never reaches
fruitation.
Ever on the cusp
but never reaching the realization
FRUSTRATION
to know what needs said, experienced, shown,
but lacking the expertise.
Ever futile
Ever sterile
How to overcome?
THAT is the question.

our battle with contentment
stated with clear eyes and anxious heart
the longing for something more
or at least a few more answers

maybe the realization is that you're forever on the verge of breakthrough... and life is what happens when you're forever on the verge of breakthrough-- or something like that, whatever that old cliche was, I mean, aphorism ...
