Ropes

Post by the mingo » January 15th, 2019, 1:15 pm

this is a pirate ship
there are Tibetan monks aboard
they are chanting
they got those singing bowls sounding off too
I think the fish beneath the boat
are stricken with sleep when we pass over them
and they wake back up in the year 1942
in South Dakota or maybe Nebraska
a sort of regeneration therapy in reverse
flying the skull & bones and looking around -
in upstate New York there would be a crossroads
with a big maple tree and a woman standing next to it
her name is Abigail
her brain is a junk car
when the car was abandoned this place was a field
but now trees have taken over
they grow out of the hood of Abigail's brain
mice live deep within the seats
and raise many litters of other mice
that go out into the forest and discover snakes
that like to eat the little travellers
sky overhead is blue and gets filled with clouds
there is wind some days and talk of cutting all the trees down,
removing the junk car and building a school
putting a fence along the river
because the water is alive and making music
the sand dunes are crossed by animals
who don't want Abigail's brain to leave
so they walk around
with ropes in their hands
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Ahhh... felt so good. I think I'll dive in for seconds... hours are a wee bit filling.

Good read, amigo!
