It Might Look Beautiful

Post by the mingo » March 9th, 2019, 10:16 am

blow blow blow
blow in the cold
the chords rise up
full plate for the crow
Joe & Joan glowing with go
outside ain't nothing but snow
got the rhythm flake by flake
gave and give nothing to waste
not one reason ever to wait
strange or stray or any saint

ain't any dull sentence
not touched with grace

those long ago went down in the caves
changed the walls from empty to brave
chained themselves to new vision as slaves
since that time what will be
ain't never been plain
hold on to your name
cause in the end
if you're rich enough
and without much curse
you'll get a parade
fronted by a big black hearse
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

down in the caves, walls changed from
empty to brave (love that..) Love the
rhythm of snowflakes too.
