Invitation

Post by Doreen Peri » April 11th, 2019, 10:34 pm

It's possible that I may die
of a broken heart,
but at the start of imagining
the possibility,

I perceive the inevitability
to be a positive move.
Hey, let's get in the groove.

Anyone got a video camera?
Sure you do. It's on your phone.
Stop by my place tomorrow at noon.
Bring your friends or come alone.

I'm planning a rough draft film,
flimsy as it might be.
I'll provide the location.
I'll provide the tea.

That's what living is for, right?
Wear jeans or tights.
It doesn't matter much.

I'm serving lunch.

excellent musings to ponder....
aging is challenging, but rating it
probably isn't useful, so rolling with it
doing our best to resist the down sides,
with exercise and eating and sleeping well
creative endeavors and naps, naps, naps
and finding your sense of humor, and
of course lunch with friends
dancing, singing, hiking.....movement
making movies
not getting too serious
you seem like you are in a good place doreen
you have the gym....the dancing
the painting.....keep on truckin' !
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
