the black and blue flu and the boogie woogie goo

[saw]

herbal teas and kleenex
lined up for duty like boot camp recruits,
with bald heads and pasty skin,
the blues have come to town
like a black widow in heat,
i guess you could say I'm black and blue
sitting in a web of malaise,
no need to struggle despite the toxic bite
to move to a conclusion,

like she never laid a glove on me

when the muscles say no and i have this
two ton ballpoint pen, brand new
from the package of blood, tears and cum
and so it is, we write about what we know
we write when we are clam-happy
we write when we are eeyore-sad
when there are monkeys on our backs
when the eternal flame is turned up enough
to sear the receptors, i mean JFK

ain't the only bloke to have one of those

and sometimes the black and blue flu
asserts itself, and that's why this poem
is so sick, so frail, ...the meat has fallen
off the bone while the carnivore just watches !

To the acupuncture guy stir it up little darling

love my acupuncturist
I have all my healers lined up
ready for duty
and western medicine
has limitations
refuses to see the entire picture
it's at times like cutting a photograph in two
and throwing one piece in the trash
Integrative Medicine is the way to go
East meets West
and embraces
