insatiable thirst .......
to have all the agate marbles
flicked into the fragile hordes
human bowling pins
shot by chubby thumbs with gout.....
these predators only eat red meat,
I see this repeat loop on the evening news

below the mounting drifts
salt n pepper locks, caterpillar eyebrows
a poet's sandman eyes water
for the untouchables.....
marginalized rancid lamb chops
swept up into a pile
of forgotten bones

some call collateral damage
it's a nice way for them
to couch their sadism
a clever way to mask
a butcher's soul, it helps
them fall asleep in their hammocks
fat bellies rising up and down

in the salty air of dream vacations
on trampled isles coming true
where natives pour them rum cocktails
bring exotic appetizers to white sandy beaches,
they are Masters of Rationalization
a prestigious informal degree
from an institution of lower learning
