I kept hearing "they hate our freedom" after the nine eleven attacks, and it was so true on the News of the Moment.
After that it all seemed like some kind of big hoax,
by the Government or by The Media, I can't decide
which is which these days and which is more vain.
The land is getting prepped for the Final War, those
bastards out there who would steal our freedom.
We can't let them get away with it.
"They Hate Our Freedom"
Re: "They Hate Our Freedom"
the commercial media is so in bed with our government
Most all scoops come from their "sources" with they never disclose
therefore, they could be easily swayed one way or the other
by some insider that wants to set the narrative for the public
there is some good independent media outlets, but they have a much smaller following
in the end it is harder than ever to find the truth
there are trolls and bots, and misinformation spreaders feverishly at work
best thing to do might be love those around you hard as you can

If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading
Re: "They Hate Our Freedom"
Thanks saw. Well, THAT was a little sloppy.. Maybe something more like..
They hate our freedom!
rang loudly after the attacks,
again and again, like a surgical implant.
Like a shrill drill bored deep into my skull,
it all seemed so true in horrific days of hell,
but truth finally died on the operating table,
after one too many attempts on its life,
never able, to return.
(Forgive my "fixation" over the years on this general idea/subject.) For all the talk of "fake news" (yes! make it whatever you want!) lately, to me, FAUX News is still the most instructive barometer (seemingly infinite cesspool/wasteland of left/right sludge slinging and stink-bombing notwithstanding). I said for years that FAUX was/is in many ways a "state-run" media center, slanted heavily right-wing--- the closest thing to a "Pravda" of the West (especially w.r.t. pursuing foreign war interests) that America has come up with. The ironic, and moronic, thing is that Trump is so all over the map with his hip-shooting, double-talking "foreign policy" that it's exposing cracks even within the FAUX Juggernaut--- which perhaps suggests at least some of its internal factions may have been nearly as duped by their own talking points as a lot of the rest of us the whole time.
