Reach for the stars, Cinderella
your half-baked ideas of love
lay heavy within the heart
chained deep within darkness,
loneliness has been your guide,
the anti-disciple of truth,
leaving you in pales of regret
wishing upon fantasies spun
by your own webbed devices,
created by romance novellas
that other lonely people wrote
in their own times of despair...

Love is your total surrender
your complete trust given
unto the vastness of your space,
particles of light guiding you thru
the journey of endless possibilities,
wonder and awe your momentum
that blows the sails of need
across the sea of consciousness,
the fullness of your being
freed from the shackles of want...

Surrender to the vastness of You
and there you'll find the feeling
you have so laboriously titled

L O V E

That four-letter word that stokes
your hearth of desire to warm
the coldness of lost emptiness
pervading your being since you
have entered this world of ego.

Trained and coerced into places
that no longer resemble the You
that stirs and shakes the bars
that have imprisoned your mind,
your soul longs for the escape
from these bars created for safety,
but this net has only stunted growth.

Your fullness can no longer be held back...
your spirit must submit to its nature -
that of winged freedom thru the eternity
of your being, free from all influences
that have falsely given you safe harbor
and now you must give way and see that
this prison which surrounds you has no
key but your own frame of perception
that will spring open the door of your
true self and explode into the great void
of possibilities that awaits your essence...

Free yourself and let loose the charade
that has covered your soul, your fragrance,
and allow your true being to enter the world
given to you for your own self-discovery.

Cinderella means so much to me .. as I was blessed by an honorable Italian man in this lifetime
My children look and act like him sometimes
