No those little saying we use to hold reality still for a minute
My feet hurt
I see people fleeing and idiots are n charge somehow. How did this happen?

I dunno
Now I am in the back yard
With my flowers
I brought a bed out here so I can lay here
In the sunlight
Oh and the stars at night

If I am to go on that magic carpet ride
Due to a virus
Well take me when I am asleep
As I love life

The sun went down with sizzling ideas floating in a swimming pool in Palm Springs
The radio has to be a spiritual thing because it was Jesus music or
Some 80s thing
Clawing at the skull
Trying to stimulate my soul redirect
As I cannot do the happy happy joy joy today

I'd heard of sizzling ideas floating in
some far east of LA swimming pool.
That's why I thought about Las Vegas.
That's why I did the California desert.
It was what I expected, extraordinary
and inexplicably beautiful.

The various houses in cookie cutter designs and swimming pools with cute little cement angels and planters
I always volunteer to cut the bougenvelia
Those pretty pink flowers with sneaky thorns
The water.. when it’s hot like this it is paradise
Next to a swimming pool

In a suit I
Made up from other bathing suits
I look pretty cool even at 62
I still have it
I guess God and the dog make it all worthwhile

It is once again the passionate pleas of the people that have been there creating a country
In kind nesses
The way I heard it
The whole thing is hogwash

Back on my porch I does what I please
Dipping into the herbal flowers
All that rests in the towers

While wearing a mask
Oh I grew another nostril
All of the sadness and sickness
Like snot or blubbering tears
I cannot breathe
None of us can in this dusty ole attic
Worshipping the past like why?
Moving forward from today ..
see it’s like this
You are fired, all of you
No more jobs
No more nothing

I saw a woman today that shocked me
I dunno what has happened to her
But she looked haggard and angry
She was always angry and polish
Nothing I can do about that
I tried : i think she might be the kind of woman
That preferably gossip chocolate and wine
Would carry her through life
She complained a lot

I walk away from that
The one that showed up on my doorstep
She says “ you saved my life”

This is the stuff that pisses my children off
A woman on the couch with mom administering
Various herbs and tinctures

The horrible thing is that the dysfunction
Turns on ya like a yapping dog
She’s a month old now
A cacoon
She will become a butterfly again
I know it

Some say they saw the bogeyman
Others describe a “ spiritual experience “
Short of levitation I don’t think I could feel better

It's getting harder to just breathe,
no doubt, histories of dusty attics.
When will they be fired and wake?

I stopped smoking 20 days ago
I can breathe
Unless someone puts a knee in your neck
There is something
Peculiar
About all this insanity

if 6 was 9
I saw a woman today that shocked me
I dunno what has happened to her
But she looked haggard and angry
She was always angry and polish
Nothing I can do about that
I tried : i think she might be the kind of woman
That preferably gossip chocolate and wine
Would carry her through life
She complained a lot
I can shine her on because being a woman is hard
and I am grateful she is what she is and I am what I am

"I don't really care about,
Anita Hill, Clarence Thomas,
Joe Biden and the other 77 senators that voted for that war
Hilliary too
Glass Steagall and Bill Clinton
no I don't really care, do you?
every day I pray

west coast idioms 8)
I can shine her on ...
I googled that and did not like the meaning I found
I am thinking about the first time I heard the expression, shine it on.

I was living in Morro Bay and the way it was said to me was more like don't let the devil steal your joy, keep on trucking, take it easy, rise above it, don't let it bum you out.

don't mind me I get tangled up in white matter sometimes 🙃
