Expletive Heartbreak

Gotta pain up my semi colon
it left me in a comma,
I was having quotations:

Did she question mark
what happened between
the parentheses..?

She took a dash
up her colon that
left her apostrophe
dangling participles.

My exclamation point
was left italicized,
my heart in brackets.

Gotta leave vexations of mind
to those who lived before and
after Zen, the no-mind of mind.
It all makes no sense at all,
but obviously I'm confused.
