Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

This one is untitled, and dedicated to two of my greatest friends and their long distance love.

If everything I wished for, suddenly came true,
I wouldn't be so far away, I'd be right there with you.
If everything I hoped each day became a fact instead,
each morning I would kiss your lips, each night we'd share a bed.

If only we'd met sooner we'd have had more time to spend,
at least like this, before we kiss, you are my valued friend.
I do know that I love you, three simple words to say,
I promise when I'm with you I will never go away.

And so I'm looking forward to our first real life embrace,
to hold you tightly in my arms, to see and kiss your face.
Keep watching that horizon 'til you see me on my way.
We will surely be together on a not so distant day.

With thoughts of you I'm smiling, to hear you gives me joy,
long distance love is blooming in the heart of girl and boy.
Adults on the outside, and love struck kids within.
A beautiful relationship, just waiting to begin.

Right wing, left wing, lib and dem.
One of these, or one of them?
Names and labels, Weapon fables.
Sky long trails made up of chem.

Corporation profits rocket.
War becomes the everday.
Proceeds to the bullies pocket.
Surely there's a better way?

Drugs are found in drinking water.
Planet warming more with time.
Creatures dying, People crying.
Mass suppression, not a crime?

His land? Their land? All lay claim.
No-one wants to take the blame.
Reasons lie within,'The Book'!
Fighting in a saviour's name?

"Crying men are stupid weaklings"
"Homos do not have the right"
"Abortion is quite simply Murder"
"Don't dare disagree or fight"

Truth is not just what they tell you.
Truth is what you choose to hear.
See each side with no restrictions.
Truth must not be ruled by fear.

Almost seven billion souls,
now living on the earth.
We hold the means to make it work.
We first must know our worth.

That is a lot of Television sets to speak above. I get mystic visions of the bell curve. There will always be those at either end that pull at the hump in the middle who are glued to the TV reality. Somebody around here said "the media is the messiah"
and somebody else said "we can' lose we got the ink

as I sit here in front of my real time TV with keyboard

the second part made me think in Dylan´s A hard rain gonna fall or something like this.

Thanks for the comments guys. We were having a play at Plaza last night with the ABCDerian style. I came up with this piece, as seen through the eyes of the biblical Adam. This is purely art to me as I am not a christian.

Apples were that one temptation.
Bark like skin and branching arms.
Couldn't see the destination.
Dark, Banishment, No more charms.
Everything of beauty taken away.
Fear in our hearts, Tears in our darkened eyes.
God said we could no longer stay.
He would no longer hear our cries.
I worried more for her than for myself.
Jaded and spolied she was made to feel.
Kicking guilt a drain on her health.
Love, these wounds would not have heal.
Memories from a future shelf.
No more garden, no more dreams beyond dreams.
Open wasteland as our new early greeting.
Places new, with nothing as it seems.
Questions of those we would soon be meeting.
Respectable living could be maintained here.
So much land to tend.
Turn the soil and sow the seed, with no fear.
Underneath the baking sun, hardship not to end.
Victims of a vengeful creator, a jealous fiend.
Without form, for a time.
X and Y together, until the end.
Yeshua will come in rhyme.
Zion was no more than illusion.

A wink. No more. A simple wink.
To hide a covered lie.
You can not question, do not think,
"Why that man had to die?"

A hundred different theories,
not one with any reason.
Money, Power, Greed, Control,
or pure and simple TREASON?

Deep within the archives,
of that nation brave and free.
A box contains the answers,
that are kept from you and me.

The truth may never reach us.
It could stay locked up forever.
Never mind America.
Let's move on to the weather...
