ceasing to amaze

 wonder

curled in laps of thought

the whirl of pestilence

stills the parallel ideology
as deep breath quickens



belief of surrogate worlds
enticing fueled crutches

set aflame by wonder

cracking endlessly, seemingly

...

in a vortex of gargoylian surprise

magnifying the real from doubt

as the body warms to cover under
the cavernous shadow of daylight

throngs of thoughts unwind
in treacherous desperation
summoned to the gallows
only to bewilder Truths

the reckoning now focused
sighting the Everest barriers
that willfully stall fortunes from
purchasing the strength greed

to grow like mold over headstones
bearing passed names and years
where all achieve their equality
ten-fold under utter holy silence
