108.

Post by creativesoul » September 3rd, 2019, 4:41 pm

The verdict comes in the morning with
The weather report- the coffee is usually best
At that time - before the sun puts sizzle on the skin
Sand seems to rise and fall until I’m traveling
In a place where a lady did a medicine wheel
Sedona-1994. Jess drives highway 10

I bought a Native American woman’s tape and a spoon somewhere back there
All I had Was an American Express card

Gordon won $ at the able
It was a dream
But it happened once
We got married in the green church in hanalei
I had been tarred and feathered before
Divorce cost me ten grand every time
The last one was cheaper ( restrained his ass from hitting me again)
So now I am in a very safe beautiful place stationed close to the meetings
because it takes about 12 minutes to relapse
I live with in 5 minutes - I could walk
But the heat is on
If you want to watch the sunrise
You have to get up at 4
Go climb a rock
H
Joshua tree is so cool!
Not a poem or a story
Love is rough
It doesnt come so easy
Persuasive conversation is one way
But for me it has always been laughter
I want to giggle with my partner
Cook food and eat salad we grew
Yes it’s truei
I love you
Rocks stare down the valley
As people come with r e I equipment
Looking like committed youngsters
Got rock climbing gear and everything

I am admittedly in a place that is sacred
It feels like quicksand
My magnetic fi Ltd is metamorphosis
Welcome home

our memoir's can be so complex
we can hardly believe it was us
at times seems like a novel about someone else
but deep inside we know we have lived this
and age seems to make us look at the whole picture
sort it all out best we can
and come to some kind of peace with it all
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

There is an intense flow to these lines that is irresistible. Feels like being thrown into a film with a story ongoing, no explanation up front, but then the picture of details begins to form. Wonderful to read this.

Thank you!

I miss the land of joshua trees, but I'm going back ...
There's a mystic magic feel to desert expanse.
oh the heat! rise and fall of sand, rock, reflection,
a life, all life, so vivid against space...

The rocks are the bones of many years before us
Look me up when you get here- climb on

I love the desert extremes,
even better when they moderate...
and 108 becomes 78 and the Fall
invites you out again, to see
Earth sculpture.
