off
into the approaching dusk
awaiting night to subdue
the light -
signaling dreams to awaken
beneath sleep's steady breath
"...tomorrow's a new day."

Tomorrow has always given promise
for without it what do we have..?

the day decides
that's it, curtains down
intermission

We still have today
but it was yesterday when you wrote that
so now is it yesterday, today or tomorrow
tempus fugit
