simplicity
is a shapeshifter
an alien life force, and
too many of us get swept away
in the how-to-make-it-thru-the-day stuff
to get a good look at her

simplicity
hides in your attempts to make a buck
she fails most days to intercept
your crocko-dialed calls to the other side
the moats awash in snapping teeth....
.....but truth be told, there is nothing

nothing at all, to stop you
from letting her in, she is beautiful
and means no harm, lay down your arms,
the complicated drudgery
keep the biological ones fresh and toned
so you may give her a warm embrace

pull her into your serenity
