I am not sure what happened
But the rebellion of my cells
Mutiny; unable to comply with the captain of the ship
Had to just lay down with knife like sharp pains
In my head... please God have mercy !
So finally I had a little coffee
After a Campbell’s chicken noodle soup
Yesterday
To now
I am just afraid to venture out there
A moment of weakness could keep me
In this state more days than I want to be here
The good
Fortune of blessings that came my way
Beautiful- wondering why we all have to do sick
Is it humility?
Finally rising to stand on my feet
My wings are tarnished
I cannot fly this morning
Sick

Sick
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Re: Sick
Salt water bath body calms
Looking down at my nipple
Strange how distant my body has become
Welcome it like a stranger
The world has taken a piece of the soul
Returning on a horse a canyon away
Trees laughing birds waiting
Looking down at my nipple
Strange how distant my body has become
Welcome it like a stranger

Re: Sick
The air was clean with rain
And the sage and incense were burnt
Prayers flew in and healed the body
She slept with the backdoor open
The air seemed fresh and new

Re: Sick
dear jana I hope you will get on top
of the maladies that can plague an aging body
keep the poetry close and the hope closer
I will hold you in the light, as the Quakers say

If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
