the world is using unfamiliar phrases
self quarantine, social distancing
we are beginning to accept a new order
suppressing our most basic urges
to physically gather in places we love to meet
so now we hear sweet music from balconies
see people dancing apart on the horizon
we stream movies we always wanted to see
we breathe
skype
exercise
make art
take photographs
hike in the deep woods
talk on the cellphone
do yoga, tai chi
do projects
clean
re-organize that closet
just like before, and we add
shouting from windows and doors
Thank You doctors and nurses !!
we give cyber hugs
blow kisses across a screen
bide our time in still reflection
with hope, and faith.....and love
we pray in private ways
to the gods we have chosen......................

sole meditation
monastery seclusion
daily aura growth

cage people long enough and back off... it won't be a pretty sight.
humanity can only be stopped before all hell breaks loose...
it's called freedom regardless of consequences.

What it should be: a shift in consciousness. A shifting of gears. And it will be. It is. For awhile at least.

mask ripped off the economy
and it ain't The Lone Ranger
waitin' with Tonto in the bushes
to save the day, and the bad guys
look like soccer balls with little spikey things
and the threat makes clearer
what really matters isn't keeping up
with the Jones' or with an impossible schedule
that doesn't leave you time to love or to pursue
so many of the things you've thought about for years
but " didn't have the time "
we is woke, we is woke, we is woke
