today

mostly imaginable to only a few virologists
the world flipped upside down and gave us a clear view
so many said they didn't have the time to pursue their true calling
art, music, dance, sculpture, mosaics
and then they were given the gift of self quarantine
oh sure money is a nice thing to have when the wold comes a howlin'
let me in little piggie, you haven't paid your rent
but nuthin' to do about work places closing but wait for help
while you paint and glue and draw, and build useless wonders of imaginations
free from the drudgery of nine to five
make masks from braziers, and scraps of old clothes
show your coronagenius
breathe
it doesn't mean you aren't concerned
it means you have other things to do
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

oh, so true! There's a short story lying in pieces on my workbench, and has been for months - a video/slideshow themed on dream imagery I've only imagined - a bookcase for my DVDs that needs building, mathematical monographs to be written... "Time Enough at Last".....
