channeling the beginning shards of love

(this is a channeling of someone, somewhere, tonite)

was it me that had the key
unlocking our secrets
with every stroke of the hand
swatting the seconds flying by,
like gnats overpowering gentleness
igniting a subtle fury
that only change will satisfy?

or was it you that held the key
between clenched teeth
smiling a 'i dare you'
with breath that would launch
the flotillas of Columbus
across uncharted waters,
robust with what may lie ahead...
storms fury just an acrobatic drivel
compared to the chaste chase of dreams
of what could be
...should be
for nothing is more
destined than destiny herself...

penguin-crawl into the cold seas
lapping with a perturbing silence
the frozen shoulders holding safely
the head of some larger than life beast
surveying the great domain of ice
that negates the prosperity of life
from coming into full bloom

misery is but your selfishness
straddling the ink wells of ideas
that long to drip upon my sheets
that offer you a life in dreams
whilst your pen-hand strangles
love from ever coming forth
choking your very imagination
that longs to sing the songs of life
to both our ears
thru all our senses
and gravitate towards a blanketed cave
safe from the madness of warped time
recklessly shooting stars from orbit-
your only weapon your lethal sexuality.
