cheap thrills

big storm last night
saw a bus float by on Hillen Rd.
on a cell phone video
a few cars got overwhelmed as well
Harford Rd. was a river, a real river
barrels and cones from the construction on the bridge
went floating down the street til they hit a parked car
some cars had five or six of these orange things
up on their rear bumper
we sat on the front porch with a cocktail
damn good light-show too, all for free
mother nature threw a hell of a party
and all we had to do was pull up a chair
most excitement i had since my open heart surgery
