there are nights when my thoughts
careen around like drunken-rubber super-balls
Hells Bells, there are plenty of days too
where notions come rapid-fire, obey no known laws

a voice inside says I need some new footwear
but I'm unimpressed with the selections
on Boot Hill, I feel bewildered like a lost ark
alone in an alley I'm very familiar with

daydreams so real, like an ancient default system
pre-wired in the womb to be uneasy,
the soul of a Greek Skeptik, the rebuilt heart
of an itchy trigger finger, the mind of a rabid rabbit

what's this ?......a new Mastercard comes in the mail
sandwiched between layers of junk mail, Wow
I must be important, They Must See !
I have what it takes to be a Master of the Universe

brilliant !
good ole dino
I read him all the time still
talk to his sister off and on
we became rather close after his death
when she was putting together his poetry book
a real labor of love
I had never met her when dino was alive
life can be so weird that way
dino's mom still alive living in the house
he grew up in in Greektown

I got that book. I was thinking Deliverance was brilliant and u must b a fucking genius too, which brought Dino's poem to mind.

I grew up in the neighborhood between Greek town and Little Italy. We walked the waterfront from fells point to federal hill; but separated in time by a generation.

wow, high praise, thanx man....to be be associated with dino in any small way is an honor
