the torture rooms, the crematories
not a bone, or maggot, or rat, seen
not a scream anywhere
vomit & drizzling **** long since removed from floors & walls
of the gas chambers
all scrubbed, all cleaned up -
not a bit of filth - the sparkle
every door open
every room empty
sanitized
silent

it's just eerie to have a memorial there, but what do I know of what comforts people after such atrocities ....I like your handling of then and now...really good images......as if it's possible to scrub it all away
