Andi

She seemed at the edge of a cliff
Not so sure if she wants to stay
Or jump, I feel guilty when listening to her
Because she speaks in tones unseen by most
Like a key chain she is struggling to put another one
That resembled a lock she once had open
But now is ever so confused about everything
She becomes a small child that needs care
But she is 80 years old. Her sons are fed up with her neediness
And she has no skills at being a friend
But someone assigned her to me
Today ; although my dog has a paw injury I must go to work .. and buy things she needs before coming back to sick bay with my dog
I try to share what I have in my heart
But I don’t know how to do Andi
Someone will teach me , if not Andi herself
Bike riders fly by the house
The windows are open
I feel just alive and ok
My prayers are for the future generations
I hope that we make it
Even if we only can heal one person at a time
Not so sure if she wants to stay
Or jump, I feel guilty when listening to her
Because she speaks in tones unseen by most
Like a key chain she is struggling to put another one
That resembled a lock she once had open
But now is ever so confused about everything
