snake-lke eye heard th|s...

Hitting Homer’s with a Broken Bat

It all happens as quickly as it begins
when the circumference of life returns
those beginnings once lost now found
and that blessed circle brings about
unforgettable dizziness ... stop it!

I offended my self and those echoes
from some distant past, dust covered,
stacked like two-by-fours, askew you
askew me, as livermore acres delivers
whatever the hell they’re good for today.

A torrent of gratitude tilted delicately
upon the precarious ledge of boredom
driving the cherished principles of life
torn from ancient texts illegible to the eye
but the friggin' mind..! translate this!

How can desperation be so cruel when Homer
still insists on being remembered 850 years passed
... an instant in the life of a memory that groans
and whistles thru gapped teeth, chipped by time
to never chew the proverbial fat with antiquity
we invent out of turmoil today's humbug buzz

:: bzzzz.... bzzzz... bzzz..... deliverance in an echo ::

[with an mtmynd...]

it's a tough job processing all we have ever experienced, but something forces us at times to make that review... 8)

The circle of life and Zen. You're hitting Homers these days ...
