working through the dim

Post by saw » April 7th, 2021, 11:20 am

sometimes coffee isn't enough
some days you linger in the shower so long
the water runs colder than a Norwegian well,
the hands of time refuse to wave to you
even though they definitely know who you are
eye contact dissolves into puddles of opaque reality
you can feel the master of torment in the room
though his shape is not to be seen, you know what
I mean...so you look in the corners for days on end
the definitions must be there, the doors were bolted
on Thursday, and you begin to roam the acreage of your mind
when hide and seek was fun, when it was thrilling
not to know so much
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

The thrill is gone.
We know too much,
and too much is
not enough...

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

those damn ghosts haunting my fragile sanity

Yeah Cecil, let us avoid normal when possible, because usually its contrived...πŸ‘πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜œ

The norm IS contrived, to allow all to play SAMO-SAMO, boring MIND's right of much needed INSPIRATION. :)
