If you wear your heart
too much on your sleeve,
you shouldn't write poems.
No one will read your leaking
politics, the death of art.

you'd be surprised who will read your words
often many are thinking the same thing, so let er rip !.........

Thanks. Channeling my inner "perezozo" here, I guess. (Erstwhile "critic" who posted here years ago.) He loathed "poesy" too absorbed in itself, yet he blasted anything "too political" as well. I can (sort of) see his point(s), if the transcendence of art is lost in either case... Anyway...
