Today I am wise

Post by saw » July 28th, 2021, 8:48 am

Rumi spoke of love....
mystical views from any direction,
the overlooks when the skies are clear
as baby's eyes...

Sufi poets
whirling dervishes

the wound is the place, he said
where the light comes in
with radiant wings
and glowing eyes of contentment
singing like canary troubadours
grateful for all the worms
tidbits...

words from the 13th century
yesterday.....he said
I was clever
I wanted to change the world.....
Today....
I am wise
so I am changing myself

Tomorrow ? ............
we 'll see
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

The light comes through the whirl.. with radiant wings..
very well put..
wisdom is often kept in silence

Mine is in Spanish now
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
