I cradled my oversized stylized floral mug
like it was the best damn cup of mint tea
that I had ever swallowed, as if I squeezed it
hard enough I could prevent its escape to vapors
and I did want to savor it and I kind of felt similar
less solid
more gas-like than a person of substance.....
my mind was clearly looking for something,
there are times to seek the unimaginable
and this was one of those moments when
desire bubbles up like cellular magma, this burning
to uncover what the hell is missing
as if this cup of hot tea knows and will tell me
what I need to know, if I simply
strangle it....
there are times to seek the unimaginable
but force is for fools and patience will take you further down the line
be that astral lightning rod when your-time pays you a visit
there are times to seek the unimaginable
there are times to seek the unimaginable
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading

Re: there are times to seek the unimaginable
I dunno why that make so much sense to me
The whole clutch the goblet
Golden in nature
Merry go round of thoughts
A kaleidoscope o images of what the mint tea can do
What if nothing is
Missing
Maybe just focus on the
that bigger picture

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Re: there are times to seek the unimaginable
great poem. strikes lots of inner instincts
Re: there are times to seek the unimaginable
thanx colleagues.... ....i suppose to me the poem is about stirring the water.....see what emerges....and that edgy feeling we get sometimes when we have this innate sense there is more.....not unhappy. not in a bad place.....curious.....reading tea leaves....wanting to uncover something new.....unlock things we may have overlooked, that are important....learning
If you do not change your direction
