... cutting up leftover pork roast for the dog
and wondering why the aluminum foil was left out on the kitchen counter keeps me occupied,

I try to understand these things as forms of blessing
because who knows what trouble I would otherwise get into

I mean look at what has happened to AM radio over the decades -

gratitude for little anchors
countertop gestures
while anti-gravity bides its time

while you weren't paying attention
the right wing commandeered the airwaves
while you were trying to stay out trouble
and counting your blessings
who knows how or why there is aluminum foil

... it appears so, damn shame - I remember cutting my rock & roll soul teeth on AM radio waves, my Sears Silvertone 6 Transistor radio placed next to the drainpipe of the bathroom sink for antenna boost - my father's house - next to the railroad tracks that gave the easiest path into the woods -
