I tried to stare down the cloud
but I blinked first, the cloud
was tinkled pink with a golden grin
thinkin' I'd even try... but I was lookin'
for something, so I locked my mightiest gaze
on another cloud with a dark wavy ridge
and I beseeched the sky blue canvas
to tell me something I didn't know,
felt the puh-puh-power of nimbus
slowly and artistically, rouse my daydream,
as a church-like bell let out a haunting peal
from somewhere deep in the woods
and not on any map I'd ever seen,
an ancient soundtrack from that famous bang
and musical notes filled each new formation
then drifted away from my symphony
to another cloudstruck hiker somewhere nearby
as my back sunk deeper in the granite rock
and I pictured a line of trailblazers also on their back
each reading their own unique message
each with their own interpretation... their own private rapture....
perhaps the broad brush of pantheism was just reminding me
that reality here, is identical to divinity
identical to divinity
identical to divinity

Re: identical to divinity
Yep. Identical. One and the same.
I love watching clouds, they shape shift
and reflect, give us the shapes of us, like
bucking horses, or bighorn sheep, or even
puffed out bluffs to incredible sky heights ...
