What drives me

Post by stilltrucking » October 30th, 2021, 4:45 pm

Drive on
what do I tell myself to keep on
for one thing I read a lot
jai uttal playin the background
......................me ground beef....filled with
silly putty
the goddess
the gaia
the siren on yonder shore
let me hear her
tie me to the mast
i wired wanna hear
just what she do gotta
sing or say her siren song
though it might be
a whisper
it's all unknown
how ya gonna trade in it
or like some folks wanna
get saved within it.....
make yers vodka
make mine gin
it all ends up
turning to
dust again & again & again................
wireman

fortunate perks keeps me hanging on
a couple nights ago I had a dream about wireman
I love my dreams, keeps me entertained, even my nightmares.

It used to be caffeine
But that’s gone dark on stage
In my mind
The jokes are numerous
Nice writing
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

gots ta do whata doodle do
sleep with goggles on after eye surgery
I gots lots of drugs still
caffein illuminates my days and nghts
sugar feuled dibetic nightmares fill my nights
I would hate to lose them but I need to lose wieght
81 is spooky age for me
a mutal admiration society indeed
thanks for writing and reading 8)

I feel u
Yah I read that in certain indigenous tribes they bury the person inside the village : sitting up.. unless they died of the swelling

I was not exactly sure what that was

But I see the “ surrender dorthy” written in the sky
I have already run through the poppy fields
Trying to get to oz
Or home sweet home
I dunno

If I don’t quit eating brownies and drinking exotic coffees I’m going to be buried “ outside the village”
The things that stick on the roof of my mind
Like chewing gum under a Resturant table
These things will not let me go
Be a free thinker
I have like 20 days off cigarettes again
And it is not by virtue that I quit
Or frothy emotional appeal
It is because there are no American Spirit black cigarettes here
And I tried the tobacco they have here in Chile
I think if I ate it
Maybe it would have satisfied my never ending desire for more
Nicotine
Now let’s talk about sugar
Even my son makes fun of my foam and sugar coffee s ..

But what’s a woman to do? My puppy licks the foam off my finger in the morning
I get rides to the store because my driving and hearing both suck
Sugar bread pasta
My mind is pretty cluttered with options asparagus for breakfast

- the bloating
Consumption
Forcing myself to walk
Feet kill me
Massage at 4:00
I’m sure that this is the end of the road somewhere
Here in Chile : by the sea. Thank God for the father of my children and my sons and grandsons and granddaughter
Keeps me willing to let go
Herbal tea
The final frontier
Peace
Smiling

So now : I knit
There was a time when I went to college as a returning student and in my nervous way I went to the midnight AA meeting in Portland oregon… I made this not very talented blanket that looked like they wore it in the movie matrix..
my granny had Alzheimer’s and she was rich.. but my aunt took her blankets and bowls because she was greedy and mean..
so granny was cold and I finished the blanket off and handed it over - she had a poodle named fiesta- she fed it half of all her food..
She wore that thing around the house and said” this is the best thing you ever did”… well I dunno about that.. but it’s a true story

"If you can't give me love and peace, then give me bitter fame...."The Silent Woman: Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes Paperback

my heart on my sleeve
a woman's face is a rose is a...
paper dolls
two dimensional
eidetic images

the peep show
in my head
women make a fool out of me
fools rush in
love stinks
fortunately geezers thrive on broken hearts
listen I don't hit on women anymore
it is not one woman that I want
I want them all
beats me where I read that but I sure know the feeling
So I hope I don't make you nervous when I write about the biological imperative
I leave no hostages to the future.
No children is a spooky feeling makes me feel like a one tick pony with a Darwin Award.
All I got is this compulsive scribbling that I hope will grow up to be hypertext-trash novels and father lots of short stories
You made me smile and happy with your reply 8) thanks for writting.
thanks for the true story.
In and out of college from the fall of 1959 thru the winter of 1973.
I had Doctor Faust Syndrome
oh please don't get me started on electric fart jokes :P

It’s funny.. the whole gas thing.. my granddaughter is 38 days old and farts
But it is so beautiful out I want to take a micro dose of shrooms and walk my little dog.
I guess I want them all too. Multifaceted thunderfuck before croaking
I see these people all in love and it’s beautiful
But I don’t know how to do that
I was a wife 4 times
I guess I just give up one day I got a massage today
And “ cupped” pretty sure it beats the s h I t out of dating and the akward phases of mating - to be polite
My cat used to howl and back up screeching
I liked her approach

true love first love
rock and roll is here to stay
she was just sixteen when I saw her standing there in 1956.
I found a dating site for really old people. It is called Carbon Dating.

I saw her doppleganger in 1972 at Carnegie Mellon
Like looking at myself in her eyes
Never been married but I have known seven women, all of them beautiful.

Being a good friend
And longing to see
The future on a clear day
I saw forever

Later on with my crayon
I traced the faces of the love I gave
With all the flare of a hummingbird
The buzz of my wings flapping
Near heavens ears
Listening intently for a sign
That I was on the right track
You who I loved with everything I had
But I had nothing without your love
The sun rose and set in your favor
The smell of pancakes and bacon fill the air
After a night of the wild thing
Eating and kissing seemed like the best thing ever
Sticky syrup and sunlight

You who made me smile
In the dark
You who brought my heart back into the light

I knew you
Like I had never know a person before
Yet ; later on
I was not so sure of myself
Fading into my broken thoughts
Pathways to the center of the soul

first draft
the fear of the fog
I fall in love with paperdolls
their words leap off the written page and strike me dumb
I got a bad reputation of hitting on the women, of studio eight, my— silicon dolls
Hell, I even hit on j____
Vice is nice but incest is best
I never hit on my baby sister
A couple of years ago I needed to feel sixteen and find puppy love
There was a book called Passages about 50 years ago. The author wrote that she had to re-verginify herself.
Lies all lies, I am a truck, I own you.
Saint Anne Sexton
one of my OCD paper dolls
I went steady with her for my 25 years over the road
What drives me is the phantom truck
the pure terror of gripping the driver's seat with both cheeks.
while down around San Diego driving in a whiteout fog
Talk about peak experience Maslow youesta say.
A Jesus take the wheel kind of feeling
as stayed cool on my stool
my pulse steady and breathing slow

Or as the trashy truckers "you could not drive a 10 penny nail up my anus with a hammer.

What drives me is to keep driving some way. I've seen ruins and speeches and ruins inside speeches, yet young people keep getting born, so I think we'll survive, somehow, sans asteroid.

I keep thinking about that hello babies quote from old kurt
and pretty girls make graves even in refugee camps where people are starving
blows my mind the biological imperative is one hell of a cath 22
. Mother nature is a bitch with an ice pick when it comes to survival. It don't care about quality—jack london wrote about the sanctity of life.
'Wolf' Larsen:
I held that life was a ferment, a yeasty something which devoured life that it might live, and that living was merely successful piggishness.
thinking about that shot NASA is doing with the crashing into a harmless asteroid. I suppose they got it all figured so there is no chance of them knocking it into an earth orbit :?:
