your brother sez
you've lived a nomadic life
but he is classy, he is kind....
he goes to church every sunday
no matter how damn cold the mountains are

he volunteers at the soup kitchen
and gives money to his junkie niece
and he chooses his words carefully
because he cares about people, but
saying you simply like to roam, well.................

I would describe it slightly differently.....
you live in one place until you have enough time
to burn every god damned bridge you come across
to the ground, and then move on
in cloud of black ash and destruction

to me, a nomad has no settled home
but she is not a marauder, she is not a plunderer,
I'm still friends with your brother,
I wish him happy birthday and stuff, but
I never ask questions about his big sister

I already know what she is doing

insomnia often gives us no choice.
thank god for the ability to write, submit and know that i apparently still exist in a workable system.

I am also accused of nomadic behavior.. but it has remedial measures.. as sometimes the great mystery shows a critic what a fool he/ she has been..
I like to laugh at myself.. I think I’m a joke anyway but without this humor- being up late at night and playing with my foamer- and coffee … mmmm it’s good - thanks for the write — not sleeping can be like the greatest thing ever
