I agree. Race has played an enormous role in populating the classes; and so has education. It's a complex interplay involving income disparity, racial & cultural prejudices, and social media. I think calling this
A class war is a little like calling WW2
A war - there were at least 3 going on at the same time: Allies vs Germany, Allies vs Italy, US vs Japan - all with different geopolitical origins. Today we've got lots of Americans standing on opposite sides of different rivers throwing rocks at one another.......

As I see it the race war and the class war run side by side... that is true.....However one would have to admit the class war is the war that dominates....It's the war of the wealthy against everyone else.
While brutality is the primary feature of the race war ( slavery, lynchings ). the class war goes largely unnoticed at times because it is conducted by legal means, in courtrooms, congress, board rooms and exclusive clubs
We live in a country where millions of people do not have health care, which means that winning the race war will not result in all of lives getting better, just equally as bad.
racism has always been a powerful tool of the rich in dividing the working class. It's the ideology of the rich. One percent keeps getting richer by the minute as our middle class is collapsing.....this not hyperbole, there are statistics

You're right, Doreen. It is both. At least historically.
