She was dark and moody
Steaming hot with whipped milk
The coffee was from Santiago
Glass beaker- like a laboratory
The most perfect cup ever
She lays her head on my heart
She asks me to pray
In the dark
In the middle of the night
She wants me to paint again
Without distractions
Other things got in the way I say
S ghe laughs and scolds me with a sweet bitterness
Only coffee can deliver
She rescues me from things that intrigue
A mighty colorful
Sensation that relieves headaches and spiritually sick ideas
That had to be released in the winter fires
She aspires to have let it go

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
