The day wears on
Think I need to listen
Coffee

The sun goes down

I still thought people were dangerous

When I met him
He slapped a man accross the face for stealing from me in New York City
On the brownstone stairs outside the photo shoot

I melted
My man
My mama never took my side like that

Brilliant with these eyes
That took me to see the shroud in Italy
Romeo and Juliet s house in Verona

I went to the leaning tower of Pisa much later
Alone

Nigeria

Badagry beach - fisherman with magical powers
Call the fish

I was equally as fascinated with ganja for 20 cents pre rolled
But the palm wine was not my thing
It is possible that the village was whacked on it

I saw my son walk on glass and climb palm trees
He played soccer with the kids when they got out of school

The beaches of the world and how tiny our sands seem in the sunset

interesting what comes in , and what goes out, and how pictures look now as opposed to then......we have a tendency to take stock and assign some quality to our experiences....with new eyes

He died this morning
My paul mcartney

He watched my back
He loved me
I thought I didn’t deserve it

He wanted to talk to me 2 days ago
He did- all the alarms going off
On the moraphine drip

Showing me his art collection

This morning I wrote to my sister in Bondi
I told her that I could feel him leaving
One cell at a time

Then he was gone from that tortured and ravaged body
From chemo and cancer and life
Went to sleep
And did not wake up
On this side
Of the looking glass

Love came and went
To and fro inside out
Upside down letting it go

Memories like honey
Betch your ass I wanted a cigarette
