Gehenna
Postulating victory
over masses of books
bleating honesty
with trundled breath,
The periscope reaches
high-ward tickling
the clouds delivered
to brows winking in
scarlet-laced passion.
Realization takes but a moment
as quickly as that winking brow
manipulates time's worrisome
thoughts stacked high, awaiting
precious desires to overcome,
Truth's balancing act - a whim
upon another shaky whim
chew that Slim Jim while moments
flicker by as butterflies in search
of nectar so sweet and lovely.
Another one seeking life's approval
Gehenna speaks in rapid fire's blink!!
