The shade feathered leaves of lost love

They shudder in the winds these trees
Ocean breeze white bird in a golden cage

A woman left inside a rage
Of colored misunderstandings
Tears flowed in rainbow trenches
Wounds scars wrenches
Abuse she didn’t know
It was like fast food
Grab and run
Those friends that loved me
Are all gone
Most of them are dead
Elders gone mad
The lungs throb
She wakes in the night
Things are bugging her
She can’t fix it wants to shave her head
No problem

It’s over
The game changer is
I changed
That is my power

The light melts the sorrow
What has been in darkness’s grip

Is now a kiss on my old woman lips
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Powerful piece. Authentic truths, it seems.

it's got that low grind toward authenticity.....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
