Once upon a time
There was a little girl
The desert
My parents
Hollywood
Once long ago she felt like she was doing some things
Now the snake skin had begun to shed
Yes seven times
She tried to speak with her mother
But no sounds came out
Except what is expected
Small concerns and words
Of reassurance
This woman had to leave that all behind
The day began
And she was kind
She loved her painting
That she dipped Oreos and milk
But the rest seemed like a bad dream
The metal sculpture was brilliant
But she never really knew me
I guess it does not matter now
Well all I can say is wow
I let the sun take it away
I hope that someday
I will be able to speak to her
When she is on the other side
Because she cannot hear me

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
