The arms fell the sides in a motion that seemed to float
The swirls and colors of being under the wave
Looking up from a coral blanket

The feeling is - webbed feet
Water : the ever present and insistence to flow
That ocean we ride is all about go

Blueberry tea and mandarin oranges on the counter
The last minute thing before diving in

I wake up seeking the happiest coffee
But my senses have rebellious tendencies
Suddenly coffee is just not good enough
After six months of no tobacco
Smoking
I’m just almost another human being


I cannot eat the things I love
The things I love seem to not be on the menu

I swear my vision of getting old was quite different

honest thoughts of a life in flux
