So it’s five in the morning in Chile
It has been raining a whole bunch
Turkish coffee and foamed milk
And videos of people getting busted
For being drunk

And robbing a sex store
- or returning to retrieve his weapon from the place he robbed
Or the guy with the crossbow

One guy has 6 dui s

- one guy kicks his tailgate in handcuffs
And falls on his face


Yep it’s amusing
The fires are burning
It looks a little less forbidding today
My poor little dog attacked
By evil dogs
Has to go to the veterinarian today

Have to look at her bones


I guess slapstick is a golden thing
Sarcasm and ridiculous behavior
Is intriguing after a very long night
Of not sleeping well
But it’s going to get better
I know it
I feel it

distractions can be a good thing
so as not to take the full brunt of life
keep the faith
I always tell myself
this is temporary
tomorrow will be better

I get that-
But this morning I’m laughing
Turkish coffee
Almond milk foam
Oh how my Buffalo want to roam
