I'm Writing a Little

I'm writing a little.....
not much has come
since the stroke ...............
of midnight one could say
when things got darker,
and now I deal with daze of confusion
twisting around in the wind
a warped sense....
the shapes of words
in the proper order,
but who is to say
if round is better than oval
it's intermittent,
so I shrug, allow minor panic to come inside
then not worry if the storm door
hits him in the ass as he departs......
I understand smoke ,,,
mirrors too
the action of putting on a good face
just means grabbing another mask
off the shelf...One Must /Adapt
or go mad, and I was always fairly close
to begin with, and well...AdaptATION
is a major strength as I perceive it....
this new guy ain't so bad !
He's really the same old goat
with some new curly white whiskers
so he pulls them out of his chin
weaves them into paint brushes
adds color to the drawing that's come alive
and mumbles something to himself
