Today I sang

around the entire lake
no joke
old men can get away with that,
didn't care who i passed on my walk
who I encountered, I just kept singing
loudly

when skies are gray"
as the sun rose and I couldn't hide
my elation
for her appearance
and for the life I've lived
" Please don't take
my sunshine away "
