chances are
not the Johnny Mathis song
but the real odds for me
learning to fly at this advanced age......
so whattya think ?
I think the chances are damn good
because what is there to keep my mind
from taking off into the clouds
and soaring like the optimistic lad
that once believed it was all possible
carpet rides, spaceships, dragon piggybacks
forget about your body, you won't need it
where I'm going
forget about your body
forget about your body
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading
Re: forget about your body
we all get there eventually - and while it could be any of us at any time, some of us draw nearer the terminus than others - it's been on my mind of late.... an awareness that more lies behind than ahead.... the End? or another Beginning?

after all the years we are still alive
cut us loose let us fly
