The last day in equador

Post by creativesoul » March 7th, 2023, 8:25 pm

That thing that happens
Every place I ever went becomes
Tattoos on my flesh
On my mind
Hard to stay present

I’m
Floating
In a vision the includes past present and future
Escaping the fancy coffee house for a smoke
Leaning against the wall
Street noise
Motorinos
Traditional and modern indigenous peoples
We are all the same
But no
One is seeing what I see

It’s lovely
And sometimes sneaky
Forcing realization
Integration
Of the broken
And the healing

So many layers of color
Scents to bring me back

But I can’t talk
I
Utter “ uh huhs”
Praying for a safe place to feel

The gift that keeps on giving
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

all these sensations
reminders you are Alive....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Life as tattooed in memory. Interesting thought...
